7/29/2023 0 Comments New day break upIf someone in a sexual relationship has sex with someone else without their partner’s knowledge, they are putting their partner at risk for a sexually transmitted infection (STI) or other complications. One important aspect of consent in a relationship is around sexual safety. If you feel that important or well understood boundaries have been violated in a relationship, it’s okay to break up, even if your partner or others in your life don’t see infidelity the same way you do. It’s important to communicate what you’re comfortable with and what your boundaries are. ![]() ![]() Boundaries in one monogamous relationship may look different than boundaries in another, and the same is true for polyamorous or open relationships where there are more than two people involved. Infidelity, or cheating, can be defined differently in different relationships. Whatever you decide, it’s important to be clear about how you feel with a partner or potential partner. Ultimately, you get to decide what works for you in a relationship. It’s okay if your deal-breakers are different from what your friends or family thinks is a priority. If something changes for you while you’re in a relationship, it is important to be honest with yourself and, eventually, with your partner. For example, if a couple agrees that they do not want children and then one partner decides they do, compatibility of their unique life goals and desires may need to be revisited. This means that what we are willing to compromise on may change, too. It’s also important to understand that as we grow and evolve as people, things change: priorities, the kind of person we’re attracted to, what we want out of a relationship, and even our understanding of our own sexuality. ![]() For example, if you want a monogamous relationship, then having a partner who wants an open or polyamorous relationship may be a deal-breaker for you. That’s why it’s important to communicate your deal-breakers-the things that you won’t compromise on-early in the relationship. Sometimes breakups happen because you and your partner (or partners) don’t share the same opinions, beliefs, or goals. A relationship may come to an end naturally or may need to end to preserve one or both people’s mental health and well-being. In some cases, relationships are unhealthy for one or both people. Other reasons are more about internal changes-maybe you feel like you’ve grown apart, or you’re growing in different directions. Some reasons are external-such as one of you moving away, going to separate colleges, or going through another lifestyle change that affects how you prioritize relationships. Give us your thoughts on the WWE Draft in the comments below, Cagesiders.Breakups happen for many reasons. Which teams do you think will be broken up this year? And will WWE try to keep the rosters separate in the aftermath of the draft? The bottom line is that it’s not reasonable for a wrestler to become emotional about their fate in the draft if the rules are already out the window soon after the draft is over. The same thing was true for Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens before they won the WWE tag team titles at WrestleMania 39. That brings me to the final point here does the draft even matter if WWE continues to not enforce the split roster rules? Wrestlers like Rey Mysterio, Matt Riddle, The Judgment Day, Cody Rhodes, Chelsea Green, and Solo Sikoa have been able to go back-and-forth between Raw and SmackDown with no consequences. ![]() Will Damian Priest, Finn Balor, or Dominik Mysterio be separated from SmackDown Women’s Champion Rhea Ripley? Could this be the end of the road for Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins? What about Jimmy and Jey Uso? Okay, I’m just kidding on that one, because The Bloodline gets to show up wherever they want in WWE. There is a decent chance that another team might be broken up during this year’s draft. What stands out the most to me about this list are the two split team entries (New Day, Dudley Boyz) as well as Miz turning on John Morrison after being drafted in 2009.
